Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is key to preventing injuries. Below is a list of some basic safety equipment you should have on hand during the demonstrations.

• Safety glasses for you and students.

• Flame retardant clothing (Lab coat or coveralls).

• Safety shoes if moving large cylinders .

• Nitrile gloves (No latex gloves).

• Cryogenic gloves if using liquid nitrogen and such.

• Ear plugs for loud noises or ear muffs

• Safety shield

• Fire extinguisher

• First aid kit
